During this course I have chosen to specialise in fashion/textiles because I have always been interested in this as well as being passionate for learning about fashion. My year one final major project was called ‘The Adaptability of Plants’ to their environment. This project deals with the issues of the constantly changing environments. I experimented with prints, fabrics and drawings and development of dying flowers. I started with documenting a flower after it dies by taking a picture every hour after it has been picked to see how it changes which develops into transfer print and fabric designs. I am interested in the relationship between urban environments and nature.
