For my project I have been looking at the space outside the Congress theatre in Eastbourne. I designed and made a 3D scale model of a play space for both adults and children with climbing and seating structures included in my final model. I experimented with different materials and processes to make test pieces and i then developed and refined the structures by deciding to use wood to create the play space and by changing some parts of my structures to make them fit with a scale and function. I also decided to add some colour to further bring out the playful element of my designs. I have enjoyed the course so far and I really liked working with different materials to create a 3D piece of art that I am proud of.
