For the project I had to independently create a game. This project has enabled me to refine and practice my design and development skills and gain necessary experience. I chose to experiment with pixel-art design, environmental animation and game narrative and am interested in how all these topics can be combined effectively to make a game and its atmosphere feel enjoyable and immersive. I used Unity's animation, UI and tilemap systems along with Visual Studio to compile and code the game's features and to build the game environment and puzzles. I used Aseprite and Piskel to design any sprites that I implemented into the project. During my time on my course, not only have I learnt an abundance of skills and information which will help me to succeed in the game industry, I have had lots of fun working on the things I am passionate about.
