At the beginning of the course I wasn't really sure what I wanted to specialise in, however I soon learnt that I really enjoyed working with my hands and manipulating different materials and so I decided 3D was the route for me. My final major project is about the systems and structures within plants, that aren't usually visible to the naked eye, and taking them from a micro scale to a macro scale. I started by collecting different plants and observing them under the microscope. This year has helped me to realise that I'd like to go on to do craft and material practices at the University of Brighton.
