Considering options

For my final project I wanted to look at the idea of the human body, so I decided to name my project ‘Body Complex’.  I decided to look at the functions and details of the body, I also looked for colours and patterns to come up with an idea for an outcome. I chose to use the print room to my advantage to create as many print samples as possible to help my development of ideas. The use of screen printing became the technique I used the most. Secondary and primary research were key for this project. I was interested in how I was going to manipulate the human body into a garment. However, I am really happy with the outcome and idea I came up with. The course has been able to help build my confidence when it comes to sewing, printing and creating a garment. But has also helped develop my book and design sheet work.
