A trip through Eastbourne! My project is about a fun, alternative map (in zine forma) on the things I've seen on my journey through Eastbourne. I have chosen to experiment with digital illustration, the starting point for my project was to go to the town centre in Eastbourne and take pictures, and note down what I thought was interesting. I am curious about what goes on in the town and how I could turn something ordinary into something amusing. For my project I used my sketchbook to track my process and map out ideas, for testing, and final outcomes I used a digital app called Ibis Paint X. My overall experience on the course has been interesting, I’ve learnt many new techniques, and it’s helped me figure out which pathway I want to pursue the most. Next year i'll be studying at Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge.
