Developing portfolio for University application

Since the start of the first year, I had my heart set on specialising in fashion and textiles in the following year because it's been my life ambition since I can remember. Throughout my work I like to look back on queer history and club kids, and always involve an element of high camp in my designs, even if I draw inspiration from macabre topics like serial killers! My design process really starts with a mood board and throwing ideas on to a huge sheet, looking at themes, colours, techniques, what I like and don't like, and then I start my design journey towards final outcomes. Next year I am holding off taking a foundation year and developing my portfolio and really develop my image as a designer.
