I have really enjoyed every moment of this course, exploring the many different fields of Art and Design. I especially enjoyed the 3 projects in the middle of the course, 3D design, surface pattern design and typography, I was able to really explore and experiment with different techniques of styles of fonts to manipulating paper. Throughout the project, I enjoyed the experimentation with media, and processes. I did enjoy my Final Major Project at the end of the first course, having 10 weeks to respond to one word, 'Adaptation' so I chose the change of Hampden Park railway station. Focusing on the change in the infrastructure (The main station building, the signal box and the old wooden waiting room shelter) throughout the last 100+ years. But overall, I have enjoyed my first year on this Art and Design course, and I am looking forward to my second year!
