For my final project I decided to specialise in fashion and textiles because I am fascinated by fashion design and creating interesting garments that are out of the ordinary. My project is titled Nature vs. Man and explores the relationship between man-made environments and nature. Looking into weathering, decay and growth. I have chosen to experiment with prints and embroidery. The starting point of my project was photographing environments where plants and urban areas were linked (weathered pavements, plants growing into man-made structures) and through developing ideas from these images and doing lots of research on designers and artists I created a collection of samples and designs.
