During my time on this course, I chose to specialise in illustration. This is because I wanted to experiment further with ways I could make a serious situation a bit more light hearted. The name of my year 1 final major project is “ways to cope in a lockdown”. The starting point for this was different ways people managed a year locked in their house. I have chosen to experiment with different fonts, watercolour and comic strip based ideas. Next year I am looking forward to experimenting with illustration further and possibly try out fashion and textiles. I am not sure what I would like to do at university or if I would like to go yet.
