I am Rhys Butland, I have done Website Development and Animation. These two projects have enabled me and gave me the knowledge to design and create a website and an animation from the ground up. I chose to experiment with animation for my final project and make an animation on a subject I know and thought I would do good on. As well as this I found during my research that there are many different types of art styles for animations and an animator could use multiples of them in one animation. The starting point for my animation was to design the characters before I drew the storyboard so I knew the art style I was going to draw them in. I then drew the storyboard with the characters designs I had made. I also used the characters designs as the actual characters in the animation to save time making the self made assets for the animation. I used Paint 3D to make the self made assets for the animation and Adobe Animate to make the animation itself. Overall the experience on this course was great and I learned a lot I didn't know before. I would recommend this course to a friend.
