Adaptation of Alice in Wonderland: For my project I decided to create a front cover showing the similarities between the Wonderland characters and different mental disorders as this is something that always interested me. My project started by looking at the adaptations of fantasy stories and their possible darker origins. When creating my adapted story’s cover I chose a paper and fabric mixed media collage. I experimented with using my own background photos, watercolour/acrylic paints, botanical prints and vintage fabrics. I have really enjoyed this course and getting to experiment in new different areas and improve my art skills.
