Throughout the course of this year I’ve developed a preference for illustration. I have experimented with both digital and traditional media through a range of detailed and more abstract methods. For my final project I combined some elements of illustration with the construction techniques of textiles to make a soft toy and storybook product set. Projects that I have particularly enjoyed are the illustration focused fashion project, the photoshop aspect of the glitch project, the typography project and the A0 ink drawing. Next year I’d like to develop my knowledge and use of ink through different styles; such as printmaking and dip pen drawings.
